Hours:  6:30 AM to 7:00 PM  Monday through Friday

The Dog House is our doggie day care facility conveniently located on the Stamford - Greenwich line at 421 Fairfield Avenue in Stamford, CT.  We are the only doggie day care in Fairfield County to offer:

¨ Large Outdoor play area

¨ Free outdoor water play

¨ Free dog training during day care time (we work with the dogs as needed during the day on good day care behavior which carries over at home)

¨ Ride-Along service (we do the driving)

¨ Crate Free and staff monitored care at all times

¨ We are all about doggie day care!

Our outdoor water play area is included in the cost of the day care service and a great way for your dog to stay cool and have fun!  It is safe, secure and monitored at all times.  In fact, at Doug The Dog Man, your dog is never left alone or crated.

WATER PLAY

· Absolutely no aggressive dogs allowed. 

· All dogs must have up to date vaccinations and must be spayed or neutered on or before they turn 6 months old. 

· We do not accept new dogs as drop-ins, call ahead for an appointment.  Even if you would like to visit initially without your dog, you must make an appointment. 

· We are not a boarding facility.

· Acceptable payments include personal checks and cash, sorry, no credit cards

THE RULES

For our Doggie Day Care clients only:

· We offer in-house grooming services through Barking Bubbles dog grooming.  Call Donna directly to schedule an appointment 203-561-8404.

SQUEAKY CLEAN

If you can’t drop off and pick up at our facility, we still offer our famous Ride-Along program.  We will come to your home and pick-up your dog for day care returning him back to your home well exercised and content. (minimum 2-day weekly commitment)

RIDE-ALONG

The spacious indoor area at our facility is air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter to accommodate the dog’s comfort level.  We also have a large outdoor area which is fully fenced, providing the dogs with fresh air.  Depending on their mood, your dog has the option to sit under a shaded tree,

bask in the sun or have a great time playing in the water.  For puppies and older dogs that need a rest, we have quiet areas as well. 

You can come once or five days a week… you choose.
